Widely regarded in the business as an exceptionally talented ‘stock picker’, Bernie remains steadfast in his belief that a risk-protected, balanced, diversified portfolio is key to the sustained accumulation of wealth. That said, Bernie acknowledges that asset allocation is the single most important driver of portfolio performance.
Married with two children (both boys), Bernie is a volunteer soccer coach, an avid soccer player, a passionate cyclist, the sponsor of a child in Afghanistan, and a snowboarder whose charismatic freestyle skills – preferably executed in deep powder on treacherous terrain – are the envy of his peers.
