Joy began her career in the investment industry with ScotiaMcLeod in 1996 when she moved to Calgary from St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Joy has been with the H & L Capital ScotiaMcLeod team for many years and is an expert at providing high-end client service in a seamless, efficient manner.
Much of her skill comes from a familiarity with the operational, accounting and legal sides of our business. Joy administers one of our largest group payroll plans and oversees several sophisticated portfolios.
In her spare time, Joy is a runner, cyclist and enjoys spinning classes at her gym. She is an enthusiastic outdoorswoman.

Anthony has been in the financial services industry for 10 years.
He started his career in June 2007 as a Client Relations Representative with Invesco (AIM Trimark at the time). In that role he dealt with clients through the 2008/2009 financial crisis which gave him insight to issues that client face during volatile markets.
Joined ScotiaMcLeod Charlottetown in July 2009, becoming part of a two person advisor team managing $60MM.
Moved to Toronto in September 2015 to join Head office as part of the Advisor Team Development group. Was Lead nationwide Trainer on POS3 (Smart Advisor) roll out. Key part of other Nationwide initiatives.
Joined National Branch in October 2016.
Anthony has his MBA from the University of Prince Edward Island and did his undergraduate in Economics; he has also completed the CFA Level 1 exam.
Kevin began his career in financial services with ScotiaMcLeod in 2012, and has serviced high net worth individuals and institutional clients in various roles.
He became an Investment Advisor after working with a Portfolio Manager at RBC Dominion Securities in downtown Toronto.
Kevin graduated from McMaster University with a BA in Economics, and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Formerly with another large bank in Calgary, Ben joined H & L Capital ScotiaMcLeod in 2011.
Ben believes that the key to successful investment management is the creation of strong administrative systems that allow the advisors to focus on investment results.
Studying for his Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, Ben is a keen outdoorsman whose interests include tennis, hiking and snowboarding.

Mildred started at Scotiabank in 2010 as Customer Service Officer and in 2012 became licensed under MFDA, providing advice on Scotia Funds and GICs under a Wealth Management team in the contact centre.
In 2014 Mildred joined the Hollis Wealth National Branch to assist in a project on their restricted accounts.
Later in 2014 she got licensed and became the Assistant Branch Administrator for ScotiaMcLeod Toronto Branch 15th floor.
In 2016 Mildred was hired as a Service Officer at the National Branch, assisting all advisor teams and as well did the role of Administrative Associate back up for advisor teams providing training for new Associates.
Mildred was recently promoted to Administrative Associate to join the group team servicing the Hamill/Leahy accounts.
